Hotel Sogo was founded in 1992 by two individuals who decided to come together to satisfy the public's growing clamor for a better and more convenient low-cost lodging. One was a hotel professional with over 20 years of experience in a leading motel chain, while the other was a commercial developer and an "AAA" licensed contractor.
The following year, in February 1993, they opened the first Hotel Sogo with the primary commitment of providing guests with top-notch lodging facilities and services which anchor on the following values: Cleanliness, Innovation, Efficiency, Courtesy, Discipline, and Teamwork.
Upon entering any Hotel Sogo, guests are welcomed with a traditional Japanese bow to show the distinct level of courtesy and service that sets us apart from the competition. Our hotel lobbies and hallways are spacious plus in-house movie channels as well as piped-in-music are a regular feature in all Hotel Sogo branches.
Innovation is a constant at Hotel Sogo. We take pride in introducing an industry-first centralized 24-Hour Guest Assistance SMS Center where guests from any branch can communicate their concerns via text and get immediate action -- ensuring a high level of service.
Hotel Sogo opened its first branch near Monumento LRT Station in February 1993 and has steadily expanded to its current 39 branches nationwide. Plans are also in the pipeline to open up branches in neighboring Asian countries.
